About Gene Latham
Gene considers himself a native St. Louisan….in fact he was born in Sikeston, MO, which in located in Southeast Missouri. He began his career in the 50’s working in sales for a large tire manufacturing company, later in the 70’s was running the National Chain of Retail stores. In 1981, Gene decided to go into business for himself along with his brother and another partner, founding a chain of retail tire and service centers in the The Louis Metro Area. For the last 10 years, Gene was responsible for locating sites for the retail tire and service stores. In late 2005, Gene decided to sell his interest in the tire chain but wanted to stay in real estate – he feels his experience in locating good retail sites in the St. Louis Metro area should help him in working with both investors and owners.
